**** Branch Housekeeping and Safety / Security Measures.****

Dear f b friends.

It's a tough time for Bank employees. We are working in a high risk environment, without proper security. We have to be alert , attentive and follow/ comply with requirements enumerated below.
1.Be careful, check your CCTV camera, alarm system, and sensitise your staff members.
2.The electrical wiring plan and data cabling plan should be in place.Check the earthing thru electrician.
3.Sufficient number of Fire extinguishers of CO2/Others for Electrical fire be fixed or kept in strategic places.They should be in good working conditions. Note the due date for renewal. A fire drill involving all or majority staff be given training for operating these gadgets.
4.Also the water showers/smoke detectors/fire alarms/metal detectors where deployed should be in good working conditions. Alarm should set in night mode at closing of the day.
5 The gadgets such as Note Counting machines be serviced regularly.
6.The drill to close the doors must be observed at the time of opening and closing of Cash.
7.No person other than concerned staff (like Chai/Coffee wala)should enter Cash Area.
8.Cash Remittance inward and outward should not be disclosed to outsiders( tea/panwala etc).
9.The security guard if provided should be alert (no mobile) and keep an eye on movement of people. His gun should have been serviced.
10.The Emergency numbers of Police station, Fire stn, Ambulance,hospital be displayed conspicuously.
12.The Mob no of Electrician /Doctor/Post office/Courier/Hardware vendor/Soft ware or System support member/BSNL or MTNL tel No's for V-Sat or LL connectivity be on record. Similarly the AC,the Ups vendors.
13.Statutory information like, branch timing, availability of BM, customer meet day, telephone no's of bm and controlling office, exchange of currency notes, rates of interest on deposits & advances, service charges, complainant box/register etc. be displayed/ maintained.
14. BCSBI book let be kept with Officer/ BM and staff should be made aware.
15.See that Safe Lockers are opened and closed and rules of operations are observed meticulously.
16.The access to server room /Record room be restricted/prohibited.
17. BM should check the cash as a surprise but in a very polite way.
18.If any staff member or a respected customer is living very close bye, have a very healthy relationship with them/him and note his Mob /Tel no.
19.Do visit branch premises at odd hours to examine at least once.
20. Always have an overview of outside activities/connections of staff. "Be first to help the staff in difficulty."
